You might wanna fokus more on the Artisteer bit, and not so much on the Photoshop bit. Just a thought.. All I needed e.g. was the last piece of info in – To use the “Picture or Texture” button..

Great vid. I have a question. I want to create a custom background on GIMP for Artisteer, but I don’t know what dimensions to use. I know for a header 800×150 is good, but I don’t know for a background. Help!

I always try to make it as big as possible, something like 1800 by 2000 pixels.

thanks for this tutorial, whilst it did teach me something it was not what I am trying to do. I want to place a picture in the background, not tiled or repeat but so that it takes up the right size of the bg
